The arc fence follows outside and inside radii steplessly. A straight fence does not touch a curved workpiece in the right place, so the groove or profile wanders off the shape — a flexible arc fence follows the edge and keeps the cut parallel to the outline.
The arc fence mounts on the straight fence and slides sideways, so it can serve any spindle. After use it hangs on the right-hand outside of the machine frame on all three models.
