This tool length sensor does not work with a simple button like most sensors offered in the lower price segment, but has a precise micro button inside, which is actuated from above with a plunger. This ensures a high level of repeatability.
The microswitch inside is spring-loaded. If you do not brake in time when starting or if your ramp is too long, the switch will not be damaged. It can be pressed 4 mm into the springy safety area. The switch can be connected as an opener or closer.

The cable is supplied without a connection socket as standard, so that you can adapt it to your controller.
The WLS 2 consists of a base body made of high-quality aluminum, precisely turned and milled, a wear-resistant probe head made of stainless steel and a built-in microswitch. It has a switching path of about 1 mm, then the probe head can be pressed together a further 7 mm in order to prevent destruction of the tool to be measured (safety path, e.g. necessary if the ramp is too large). It is provided with a threewire cable and can be connected as a normally closed or normally open contact. Two M4 Allen Application screws are provided for fastening.

As a normally closed contact (NC): between the core colors brown (BN) and white (WH). As a normally open contact: Between the core colors brown (BN )and gray (GY)
