TEKNATOOL - NOVA VOYAGER DVR 18" column drilling machine SET with workpiece stop

The Voyager is a pillar drill with a revolutionary concept and unique usability when drilling in different materials!

It is equipped with a 2 hp magnet motor and a CPU with LCD display, this is the tried and tested system from the NOVA DVR lathes. "DVR" stands for "Digital Variable Reluctance" - this means that the computer constantly monitors the rotating rotor of the motor to adjust the strength of the magnetic field (needed to keep the speed and torque constant) at any time.

The motor starts smoothly and the solid steel rotor has no wire windings, brushes, permanent magnets or other electrical connections to moving parts that can cause overheating and wear during use.
There are no pulleys and dirty drive belts.
The speed required for the work is communicated to the computer by turning a knob and can be continuously adjusted between 50-5,500 rpm.
The computer makes precise adjustments and keeps the speed of the drill chuck constant.
The DVR drive continuously maximizes engine torque efficiency.

As a user, simply click on the speed table on the screen to indicate the type and size of the drill used, as well as the material used and its diameter. The DVR drive then sets the correct speed. The drilling depth can also be set on the screen.

The CPU control offers many other functions, such as automatic start and stop function, "pre-drilling" function without the drill going astray, thread-cutting function, pre-storage function and various safety functions.
