Steel clamping claw - 50x20x10 mm - M6 - 7 mm slot

A clamping claw in bright-drawn steel, 50 × 20 × 10 mm. A 7 mm slot along the centre lets the claw be set to the workpiece.

The claw holds the workpiece against the T-slot table so it cannot shift during milling. It is placed at the end or a corner of the workpiece, the chamfered end resting on the material.

A packer as thick as the workpiece must go under the other end so the claw sits horizontally and cannot tilt. Otherwise the clamping force is not applied correctly.

The steel construction withstands the clamping forces of a gantry router. Also known as a clamping iron.
