The xTool P3 is a powerful 80 W CO? laser well suited to cutting wood, processing acrylic and engraving glass. For metal work, the P3 uses a swappable 5 W IR laser module operating at a 1064 nm infrared wavelength.
This IR laser module is intended specifically for surface marking and precise engraving of metals. It also suits plastics and delicate materials where a clean finish without strong heat effects is required.
Note: The 5 W IR laser module is designed for engraving and marking, not for cutting metal.
