3 mm iridescent acrylic, Red

The shimmer comes from a thin multi-layer film on the acrylic. It works best over clear acrylic, where the film colours light passing through — the effect is markedly stronger in backlight than viewed head-on.

Suits jewellery, cake toppers, wedding signage and pieces that need to look expensive for little work. Engrave lightly: a deep pass removes the film and the shimmer is gone from that area.

3 sheets, 3 mm thick, colour Red

The film sits on the surface — a light pass keeps the effect, a deep one removes it

Compatible with all xTool diode and CO? lasers; the 2 W infrared laser does not cut acrylic

The sheets have protective film on both sides — remove it after the job so the surface stays unscratched

Use in a well-ventilated space with the machine's fume extraction
