| Fits motors | Suhner UAD 25RF, UAD 30RF and UAK 30 RF |
| Weight | 28 g |
| Manufacturer | SUHNER Deutschland GmbH, Saksa |
| Supplied | 1 union nut |
The nut does not only clamp the collet but also releases it: as the nut is unscrewed it draws the collet out of the spindle. Nut and collet are therefore a pair, and the collet cannot be removed without a sound nut. Worn threads or a damaged extraction groove are reason to replace the nut even if the collet is fine.
Suhner router motors use two different collet systems, and they are not interchangeable:
The model names are close to one another — UAK 30 RF and UAK 30 RF SPZ12 differ only in the suffix — so check the motor's rating plate before ordering. The SPZ12 system takes collets up to 12.7 mm, which is precisely why there are two variants.
