The millimetre of clearance is deliberate: the insert plate drops into the opening without being pinched, and levelling is done with the adjusting screws rather than by forcing the plate into the cut-out.

The calculations are based on the Grenke leasing price list, which does not include insurance. Insurance is compulsory and the customer can either purchase their own insurance or take it out with the same contract. Leasing financing is only granted to companies with a valid business ID.

A routing template for the insert plate opening, with an ENT trimming bit. The template is simply clamped onto the table top and the opening is cut out with the supplied bit. Sized for Sauter's standard insert of 306 × 229 mm — the same outline the OFL lifts and ELP insert plates are built to.
