The OFL3.0 tilts -5° to +50° and locks at the classic angles of 22.5°, 30°, 45° and 90°. The manufacturer highlights the consequence: chamfers, tapers, grooves and mitre cuts are produced with a single slot cutter by tilting it, where otherwise each angle would need its own profile bit. The pivot also costs no routing depth.
Height is set from above with the rotary handle; angle locking and centring in the slotted hole are done with levers underneath. Bit changes are easy because the spindle and collet chuck look upwards.

A router motor mounted under the table is a precise machine but awkward to set: the cutter height has to be found from below, and changing a bit means releasing the machine. A router lift moves both above the table. Height is set through a threaded spindle, which makes the setting repeatable and stops it drifting during the cut.
The lift takes a router motor with a Ø 43 mm clamping neck. Directly compatible and approved by the manufacturer:
The Mafell FM1650PV-LO is not compatible. If your motor is not listed, check the clamping neck tolerance stated by its manufacturer before ordering.
The insert plate is 306 × 229 mm, Sauter's standard outline — so the lift fits almost every router table and is interchangeable with earlier insert plates. The plate is levelled with adjusting screws. The manufacturer offers a mounting kit SA-99600005 (4 corner plates, 4 countersunk screws, 12 wood screws) and a sheet-steel levelling frame SA-99600006 for permanent levelling.

The pivoting OFL3.0 router lift, AMB's 1400 FME-P DI spindle with an ER20 collet and the AMB Digi-BoX speed control. In a router table the motor ends up below the top and its own controls are out of reach. The Digi-BoX brings the speed setting and a digital readout above the table.
AMB sells the same motor and Digi-BoX as a pair under its own article number, so this is the combination the manufacturer intends. The spindle is 1,400 W, its speed 3,500–25,000 rpm and its clamping neck Ø 43 mm.
