Suhner UAD 30-RF milling motor 1050 W - 3500-30000 rpm - 43 mm collar - set

The Suhner UAD 30-RF is an industrial milling motor for High-Z gantry routers. Output is 1050 W and the speed is infinitely variable from 3,500 to 30,000 rpm.

CNC-STEP sells this version exclusively: Suhner builds the grey-bodied model specifically for CNC-STEP, and its speed range reaches 30,000 rpm where the standard motor stops at 25,000. The difference shows in fine engraving — a 0.6 mm cutter or a 0.1 mm engraving bit needs the top of the range.

The build is industrial: large double ball bearings and a thick steel motor flange. The flange and the double bearings keep the finish free of vibration, and the large fan wheel prevents overheating on long runs. The manufacturer states the motor runs considerably cooler than comparable milling motors and has high torque at low speed.

At low speed acrylic, PVC and other thermoplastics machine without melting; in the middle of the range, around 15,000 rpm, the machine will cut even 6 mm steel. Noise at 9,000 rpm is 72 dB.

The set includes an 8 mm and a 10 mm collet.
