Spare HEPA Filter for the IGM Laguna PFlux 3 dust collector.
HEPA filters air particles with an efficiency of 99,2 % for particles over 0,4 microns in size. It is highly efficient compared to regular microfilters, which only filter particles over 1-2 microns. The filter is basically a large flat material made from fibreglass that is folded multiple into a shape of an accordion. Despite its shape, it does not restrict airflow, increasing the overall efficiency of the filtration system. If the filter had only a single layer, the efficiency would be minimal. The folded design won’t allow almost no dust particles to pass through, only clean air.
PFlux 3 is equipped with an LED HEPA filter detection on the control panel. It illuminates whenever the automatic cleaning starts. Additionally, you should clean the filter regularly by connecting an extraction hose between the collector and the filter end cap. This creates a vacuum in the filter, removing the majority of dust. To clean the filter even more efficiently, use compressed air to blow the filter from the outside.
