Usability

Hankin tämän tuotteen heinäkuussa puruimurina toimineen tuhkaimuripöntön tilalle. Tuhkaimurin suodatin oli nopeasti tukossa ja vaati puhdistusta todella usein imutehon säilyttämiseksi. Dust Deputyn avulla nikkarointi helpottui merkittävästi.

Käyttöni on enimmäkseen jyrsintää ja höyläystä sähkökäsihöylällä. Pikkuinen oikotasohöylä on ollut mökkityömaalla, joten sillä en ole päässyt vielä kokeilemaan.

Hyvää tässä tuotteessa on ollu:
+ Imuteho ja sen säilyminen
+ Tyhjennysväli on aikaisempaan verrattuna ainakin 10X ja lisäsäiliö vielä tuplaa sen.
+ Pöntöt pystyy myös ajamaan aika täyteen ilman vaikutusta imutehoon.
+ Läpinäkyvä, joten toiminnan näkee ( Kts. miinukset)
+ Tavallinen imuri käy eteen ja sitä voi edelleen käytää normitarkoitukseensakin
+ Kompakti koko, keveys ja siirrettävyys
+ Imurin suotimista riippuen pieni jäännöspöly (HEPA tms.). Vaativat toki vaihtamista aika-ajoin.

Vähemmän toivottuja ominaisuuksia:
- Sopivan kokoiset palaset jäävät pyörimään sykloniin. Imu pitää hetkeksi katkaista, jotta palaset tipahtavat pönttöön. Lastut ja puru menee hyvin, mutta sellaiset sormenpään kokoiset palaset voivat jäädä pyörimään.
- Muoviastian kansi on aika heikko ja elää runsaasti imurin käynnistyksessä. Kuinka kauan kestää?
- Ei voi imuroida kiviä tai metallialastuja tuon kulutusvaikutuksen takia. Auton imurointiin vaan perusimuri...

Halusin arvioida tämän tuotteen, koska uskon, että moni muukin etsii tällaista kompaktia puruimuria pieneen nikkarointitarpeeseen. Sitten kun on isompi paja ja koneet, niin on tilaa myös sille isommalle puruimurillekin. Mutta harrastelijan talliin tämä sopii mielestäni erittäin hyvin. Metallinen versio olisi kiva, mutta uskon, että tämä muovinenkin menee aika kauan, kunhan ei kiveä unohda tuonne pyörimään.

INSTALLMENT

Injectioncast from an anti-static plastic. Can be hooked to different vacuums using different ways. Conical tubeconnector with an inside diameter of 2" / 51mm.

Separation degree up to 99% depending on material and vacuum used, can be used to vacuum water and liquid waste.

Dust Deputy cyclone can also be used to separate water and sludge; but be careful about overfilling and make sure your filters can handle water.

Note! Dust Deputy should not be used to vacuum hot/smoldering material or ignatable dust, liquids or gasses!

Packade includes: cyclone, 2 19L containers, 50mm tube for between vacuum and cyclone and necessary fastening pieces to the vacuum.

The vacuum in the picture is not included.
